Introducing four incredible women who paddled out together at the Lifeline Surf Classic at Queenscliff Beach, competing as Team Janga in support of one of Australia’s most vital causes — mental health and suicide prevention.

Proudly sponsored by Maxum Watches, Team Janga represents strength, connection, and purpose — both in and out of the water.

More Than a Surf Competition

Held on November 23, 2025, the Lifeline Surf Classic is more than just a surf event. It’s a community-powered fundraiser supporting Lifeline’s 24/7 crisis support services. Every day, nine Australians lose their lives to suicide — a statistic that underscores just how critical this work is.

Funds raised through the event help ensure Lifeline is always there to listen, support, and respond when people need it most.

Meet Team Janga

Team Janga is made up of four energetic, ocean-driven women who together, use their platforms to inspire connection — with the ocean, with community, and with causes they are passionate about.

Alongside her teammates, Kate, Mary, Lucie and Titilia all bring both reach and authenticity to the cause — sharing their journey before, during, and after the event.

Why Maxum Is Proud to Support

At Maxum, we believe in backing people who live with purpose and push beyond the surface. Sponsoring Team Janga aligns with our commitment to adventure, community, and mental resilience — values that resonate deeply with both surfing culture and Lifeline’s mission.

Throughout the event, Maxum will be supporting the team across social content, event coverage, and on-the-ground moments — celebrating not just performance, but participation in something that truly matters.

Surfing for Change

When Team Janga paddles out this November, they’ll be surfing for more than scores or sets. They’ll be surfing for connection, awareness, and hope — helping ensure Lifeline can continue to be there for Australians in their toughest moments.

We’re proud to stand behind them.
